Dare to Discover Thailand 2023

Discover New Possibilities in Thailand for the future.
Join us at the upcoming Dare to Discover Thailand 2023 event!
Happening in Singapore from June 20-22.

There are many overlooked benefits for building bridges (and connections) with Thailand for quality of life, retirement opportunities, career development, and future sustainability (in food security).

At Day1.events, we explore regional communities and seek to be increasingly networked so that we go beyond limits to discover new possibilities and places for ourselves and loved ones.

We are creating a series of sessions over a few days in Singapore to bring together likeminded people who desire to be connected and establish reliable bases and trusted allies during turbulent and uncertain times.

Further thoughts - from Khun Ke regarding this event.

I hope more retirement-age people consider “relocating to retire and to repurpose”, especially to go from packed cities such as Hong Kong and Singapore to more conducive community-based habitats.

Reading about Ogimi town in Japan with the most centenarians in the world, it is true that the concept of Moai (committed groups in community) is a big reason for their longevity.

For years, I have been drawn to these habitats and Chiang Mai is one of those that really had an impact on me.  I saw and experienced what was possible.  People live more fruitfully and happily longer in closer-knit communities;

and during the covid period, it was so clear that the habitat that one lives in becomes the reality of how things are.   It becomes their reality.

What about the possibility of a life more connected with who you deeply are?

It is hard to describe or even convince others of what is possible when they haven’t explored it.

But those who seek find it.

The problem is that today we are offered so many comforts and conveniences that most of us overlook the necessity of seeking what really matters until it’s too late.

It’s a sad reality that many in compressed cities like Hong Kong and Singapore never ever know what is possible beyond their tiny islands.  Getting by each day, living out familiar routines is somehow all that matters, as days dwindle down.

Changing one’s habitat (where one lives) can positively change one's mindset.

I thought about my own journey and can whole-heartedly say that changing your habitat can revive your life and lead you to rediscover buried treasures within you—  and help repurpose your life for the future.

Oh, what a joy if the collective experiences of those who have already taken this step can encourage and empower others to do likewise, and assure them that life will unfold in glorious and unexpected ways.

I hope this experience finds those have been seeking.
